Requirements:
A terrace for dining to seat 12, and an assessment of where in the grounds it would be best suited
Improved flow between the lawn, garden and car parking
Suitable for young grandchildren
In keeping with the vernacular
Semi-formal, English country garden aesthetic

Response
Site analysis leading to the placement of the terrace in the spot requiring the least intervention, which also receives sunlight, is relatively sheltered and will offer excellent views.
Improved flow between the lawn, garden and car parking, screening and rationalisation of the car parking area
A generously sized flexible terrace with improved drainage a limited rise in height above the lawn
Formal structural planting complemented by climbing roses and a traditional English country garden feel.
